A lot of what they did was not necessary for 500RWHP (cryo-tratment, porting the heads, and upgraded cams) all of that is good work to help with a smoother power band and make for a (hopefully) very reliable engine. I don't think anyone here will tell you not to cryo treat your engine parts, but for 500 to the wheels I personally don't believe it's a necessity. This of course coming from someone who has yet to put more than 200 miles on his built engine and turbo's....but it's my opinion anyway. 500RWHP is pretty common nowadays for Z's, and can be had fairly easilly.
